Walking is my go-to cardio because it's low impact and I don't actually feel like I'm working out. Done right, it can be a great calorie torcher and help you to be healthy and strong! Today I'm sharing some ways to make walking more fun and entertaining!
1. Go outside! Springtime and early summer are perfect for outdoor walks. A simple hike or walk through the neighborhood will keep your heart ticking right! 2. Grab a buddy Nothing's better than passing the time on a walk then chatting with a good friend. I usually take my kiddos in the double stroller and we gab about everything we see around us. It really makes our walk fun and engaging! 3. Turn on some tunes Music is such a great motivator to get moving! Create a playlist of your favorite songs and the time will pass so quickly! Don't be afraid to shake that tush too!! Work it! 4. Treat yourself Set a goal for distance or time and once you achieve it, give yourself a healthy reward! Buy a new nail polish, have a piece of dark chocolate or even let yourself enjoy that glass of Rose! You deserve it! There you have it; simple yet fun ways to get walking to be more fun and spicy!
